Queen Vic Market is celebrating Footy Month with a day dedicated to the humble meat pie. Grand Pie-Nal Day will include a professional pie eating competition (as well as an amateur division). Competition details
- Finalists must be available to partake in the live competition at Queen Victoria Market on the Friday the 30th of September
- The competition will comprise of first to eat 25 lunch sized Ferguson Plarre meat pies or most pies eaten in under 5mins, whichever comes first.
- Contestants will be provided with tomato sauce and water and grand pineal day t-shirts
- An ambulance service will be on hand.
