Queen Vic Market is celebrating Footy Month with a day dedicated to the humble meat pie.  Grand Pie-Nal Day will include a professional pie eating competition (as well as an amateur division).  Have you got what it takes to claim the flag? Go to the website for more details and then email your interest and list of accomplishments to marketing@qvm.com.  6 finalists will be selected to compete on the day in front of a live audience.

Competition details

• Finalists must be available to partake in the live competition at Queen Victoria Market on the Friday the 30^th of September
• The competition will comprise of first to eat 25 lunch sized Ferguson Plarre meat pies or most pies eaten in under 5mins, whichever comes first.
• Contestants will be provided with tomato sauce and water and grand pineal day t-shirts
• An ambulance service will be on hand.
