The Australian Buffalo Wing Festival will be having their wrap-up event at the Yardbird, Saturday September 4 starting 7pm. Come down for wings, beers, and best of all a wing eating competition!

The Australian Buffalo Wing Festival, in association with CompetitiveEating.com.au and Yardbird are proud to present the second annual “Australian Buffalo Wing Festival Wing Eating Competition”. First to finish 30 wings wins! This IS NOT a Death Sentence Wing Challenge competition. Standard Buffalo Wings will be used. (they\’re still spicy, just not Death Sentence spicy!)

Prizes:
- First prize is the winners weight in 4 Pines beer*, and a bottle of Blend Smoked Honey.
- Second prize is either a $50 bar tab at Yardbird, or a $50 tattoo voucher from 198 Tattoo
- Third Prize is a $25 bar tab at Yardbird
Rules:
- Contestants have to eat 30 of Yardbird’s Buffalo Wings as fast as possible.
- Liquids can be consumed as part of the competition, and can only be supplied by the Yardbird. No dairy.
- Contestants must not leave the table at any time during the competition. Those who do will instantly be disqualified
- Contestants who have a “reversal” are instantly disqualified. A reversal will be determined by the head judge with no further discussion entered into. The judges decision is final.
- The person who eats all of their wings and shows the head judge an empty, open mouth will win. All wings must be eaten cleanly (i.e. no meat left on the bone) or a 5 wing penalty will be awarded for each uneaten wing, and the additional wings will need to be finished also.
How to enter:
Contestants must register by Friday September 2 2016. Entry fee is $20 and must be paid prior to the event. Spaces are limited, don\’t delay!
