Rules (if applicable) : RULES Each competitor will be provided with - 10 x 250g Phat Boyz Brisket, Bacon and Cheese Pies (Pro) - 5 x 250g Phat Boyz Brisket, Bacon and Cheese Pies (Amateur) - Bottled Water • Competitors must place their hands flat on the table prior to the start of the competition. • The judge will count in the start of the competition with a 3-2-1 count down. • Only one Phat Boyz Pie can be consumed at a time. • Consumption of the next Phat Boyz Pie can commence only after the first Phat Boyz Pie is completely in the mouth (The previous Phat Boyz Pie can be chewed while the next Phat Boyz Pie is picked up). • At no time can there be two (2) Phat Boyz Pies in competitors’ hands at any time, or a 1 Phat Boyz Pie penalty will be applied. • Consumption of the next Phat Boyz Pie can commence while there is still food in the mouth. • All parts of the Phat Boyz Pies must be consumed entirely for the Phat Boyz Pie to be counted toward the total. • The first person to consume all Phat Boyz Pie within the 5 minute period will be declared the winner. • Should the 5 minute period elapse before all Phat Boyz Pies are consumed, the person who consumes the most Phat Boyz Pies will be declared the winner. • Any parts of the Phat Boyz Pie or its ingredients dropped either on the table or floor must be eaten for the Phat Boyz Pie to count. • Failure to do so will result in a 1 Phat Boyz Pie penalty. • Dunking the Phat Boyz Pie in water or pouring of water over the Phat Boyz Pie is not permitted. • “Picnic Style” rules apply At the end of the 5 minutes, chimpmunking will be allowed. • Water may be consumed once the timer has elapsed. • A strict 30 second period to present an open mouth will be enforced. • Should an empty mouth not be shown, one (1) entire Phat Boyz Pie will be deducted from the overall total, regardless of the amount eaten. • A judge will count each finished Phat Boyz Pie successfully eaten in a total time of 5 minutes by way of how many Phat Boyz Pies remain. • In the event of a tie, a head-to-head battle will take place to see who can eat one Phat Boyz Pie the fastest. • Competitors must place their hands flat on the table prior to the start of the tiebreaker. • The judge will count in the start of the competition with a 3-2-1 count down. • The competitor who shows an open mouth first will be declared the winner. • The Grand Champion, Runner up and Third Place will be determined by the highest amount of eaten Phat Boyz Pies.

Australia’s biggest Pie Eating Competition is coming to Toowoomba for the Phat Boyz Pie Throwdown! Contestants will have just 5 minutes to eat as many 250g Phat Boyz Brisket, Bacon and Cheese pies as possible for their chance to share in over $2,000 worth of cash and prizes thanks to Phat Boyz and Meatstock Toowoomba!

We know there’s nothing more Australian than a good meat pie. Take that, hit it with some low ‘n’ slow Phat Boyz meats, and what you end up with is one of Australia’s biggest, chunkiest, most epic pies that’s ever been made. Made with proper 12hr smoked Phat Boyz brisket, crammed full of smoked bacon, then stuffed with cheeze, weighing in at 250g these pies aren’t what you’ll find at your local servo. These are in a class of their own. We’d challenge you to find anything better! Seriously!

The Professional Division is where the big money is for the big eaters. 5 minutes, 10 x 250g pies first to finish. That’s 2.5kg of pies alone! The winner will walk away with $1,000 cash and a trophy, with the runner up getting $500 and a trophy, and third place $250. If you can beat the best in Australia, you deserve to win the best we have to offer!

The Amateur division is where your path to eternal glory starts. Eat 5 x 250g pies in less than 5 minutes first, and $200 cash and a trophy is yours. Runner up gets $100, and third gets $50. Win this, and you’ll forever get to boast to your friends and family and will go down in Toowoomba Meatstock history for all of eternity!
