Queensland
Prizes on offer : Professional/Open Division: 1st $1,000 + Trophy, 2nd $500, 3rd $250. Amateur Division: 1st $300 + Trophy, 2nd $100, 3rd $50
Rules (if applicable) : Each competitor is served a full tray of hot dogs — up to 20 in the Professional division, 10 in the Amateur — plus bottled water. The challenge is simple: eat as many hot dogs as you can before the clock runs out. Each division kicks off with a 3-2-1 countdown and runs for a total of 5 minutes, timed by the official host. Only one hot dog may be handled or eaten at a time. A hot dog only counts once it's fully consumed — any dropped portions must be eaten. Whoever finishes their full tray first wins. If no one clears the tray, the competitor who has eaten the most when time expires takes it. Tie-breaker: a 3-2-1 race to finish one hot dog — first done wins. Winners are determined by the MC, whose decisions are final. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are awarded based on totals eaten within the time.
How to enter (if applicable) : Visit https://explorelogan.com.au/flame/eating-competition.html and follow the instructions to enter. You will need a festival entry ticket and a competition entry ticket.
The Price : Open/Professional: $30, Amateur: $15
