NOTE: This competition is not endorsed, sponsored or supported by McDonalds

McDonalds has just announced they’re selling their world renowned Hamburger for just $1 each for a limited time. We figured why not take full advantage of it!

In this competition we’d like to see how many of these $1 hamburgers you can eat in 20 minutes.

This is a national competition. We’ve listed the McDonalds Swanson Street store, but you can do it in any McDonalds restaurant anywhere in Australia. All you need to do is film your effort from start to finish, then upload your video online and let us know about it.

There are a number of ways you can enter:

  1. Post your video (Facebook Live or an upload) on your Facebook wall and tag our Facebook page in your post (@CompEating)
  2. Post your video to Youtube, Vimeo, or any other video hosting service and link to our web site (http://www.CompetitiveEating.com.au)
  3. Direct Facebook message us your video

You MUST have a timer, clock, smart phone or device that displays a timer in the shot for the entirety of the video. The first 30 seconds of the video must be shown at normal speed. The rest of the video can be edited and sped up to a maximum of 16x, slowing down to normal speed in the last 30 seconds. You can submit an edited video for your entry, however you must retain the original, unedited video for us to review should that be required. Anyone who enters and cannot supply that original video when requested will be disqualified from the competition.

Entries will be accepted up to 5pm Sunday 11 June, or when the offer ends, whichever is soonest. So don’t delay, we don’t know how long these $1 burgers are going to last!

Good luck!
