The CompetitiveEating.com.au Sanctioned Events Calendar lists all officially sanctioned events where eaters can earn points which are used to calculate their Australian CompetitiveEating.com.au overall ranking.
Points are awarded to eaters based on their performance at each of these events.
A range of events are chosen to accommodate the broad skill sets in Competitive Eating, such as speed, capacity, chilli, or a combination.
CompetitiveEating.com.au are proud to collaborate with The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and the City of Sydney to bring you the 2017 Australian Dumpling Eating Championship.
This competition brings out over a dozen eaters, many of them professional competitors who want to earn the right to be called “Taco champions”. First prize is a 7 day cruise to Vanuatu!
Now into it’s 7th year the Niji Sushi Bar Sushi Challenge requires eaters to eat 50 pieces of sushi and one wasabi rice ball in the fastest time possible. Eat it faster than the record of 1 minute 59 seconds, and you’ll win a trip to Japan! Second place will win a $100 venue gift voucher.
Hosted at one of Australia’s favourite places to play, the Luna Park Hot Dog Eating Competition is a spectacle not to be missed! Eaters are given 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible. Last years event resulted in a tie and an eat-off. This year competition will be even more fierce! You don’t want to miss this one.
