Calling all those with stomachs of steel! Biggera Waters is home to the “El Diablo Challenge”, the World’s Hottest Chilli con Carne challenge. Brave contestants battle each other through several rounds, each of which delivers an even spicier version of the Mexican dish. Last year’s winner vomited 16 times before he was finally crowned!

Paul, the chef at the Pickled Cactus holds the secret recipe tight to his chest, but he assures us it’s the hottest thing you’ll ever eat. Just last night 3 people came to face the challenge, took one spoonful, then threw in the towel and sought refuge in a bucket of Coronas.

Anyone can take the challenge at any time, large group bookings essential. Sounds like a seriously hot challenge!
